There are always tons of questions . . . and I've got the answers.

I hope this section answers any questions you may have, but if there is anything else you'd like to ask, please feel free to contact me!

Do you require a booking fee?

Yes, a $100 retainer is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable. (50% of   package for weddings and remainder due two weeks prior to wedding date).  Your date will not be confirmed until the retainer and a signed contract are received.  The retainer  counts towards your session. The balance of the remaining fees will be due at the time of the session.

What travel areas are covered in the session fee?

Altamonte Springs, Apopka, DeBary, DeLand, Eustis, Lake Mary, Leesburg, Longwood, Mount Dora, Sanford, Sorrento, Tavares, Umatilla, Wekiva Springs, Winter Springs, Zellwood and several other little places in-between.  As a rule of thumb, 25 miles from my location in Sorrento is included in your session price.  I will glady travel to further locations for a small additional fee. Beach locations (Daytona/New Smyrna) will be a flat rate additional travel fee.

What if it rains or someone gets sick?

Things happen, so if inclement weather prevents a session from taking place, your retainer  will transfer to a newly scheduled session.  I will keep track of weather conditions for our session and if needed, we could shift the time a little or move to a different location before initializing a reschedule.  If for any other reason you need to cancel, there will be a ONE-TIME transfer of retainer when a 24 hour notice is given. (Please communicate with me of any arising issues).

When and where will the sessions be held?

Since I love the use of natural light, most sessions will be outdoors at a location of your choosing or one I suggest if needed. Outdoor sessions are best in late afternoon depending on the season. I am open to shooting at your home, or any other indoor location if you prefer.  My weekends are somewhat limited as I am still actively involved in my children's sports, but if you cannot book a weekday session I will have very limited weekend sessions available.

What type of clothing should be worn?

It all depends on what type of shoot you are looking for. For Families, coordination is good but everyone does not need to wear the exact same shades. Pops of color are great but too many busy patterns can be distracting.

Seniors--your sessions can include multiple outfits so be prepared to have several to choose from.  Outfits for thought: A "Parent Pleasure",  one that displays your inner personality best, and another that could be sport related or something that makes you feel your most confident.  Need some visual inspiration;  click here to see outfit suggestions for all :)

What are your sessions like?

I like to describe my sessions as "go with the flow."  The reason for choosing a portrait photographer is to create images that really capture the essence of who you are. While I may help you position yourself throughout a session, so you don't just stand there not knowing what to do, I really prefer to move around during the session and have you move around as well.  Slight movements and adjustments of where and when I press the shutter can make for strikingly different looking images.

Do you do any re-touching?

Yes, I use Lightroom for all of my post-processing but will pop over to Photoshop when necessary to remove blemishes etc.  I do not do body retouching or anything excessive like that. Most of my editing involves color correctness and adjusting the tones slightly throughout the image. This is the time consuming part that many do not realize goes into photography and why it is ok to hold sessions even on a cloudy day! Post-processing can enhance everything as far as light.  I will remove blemishes and smooth out skin conservatively.    My editing style is reflected in my portfolio here on my website and my social media accounts.  It tend to be rich in color and with contrasting tones and boldness.  If you are in search of images that are "light and airy" in their entirety, I may not be the photographer for you as I do not edit that way.

When will my online gallery be ready?

Depending on which session you choose, galleries will be posted 10--14  days after the session date. However, I will post a sneak peek of sessions on my Facebook and/or Instagram pages within a day or two of your session :)

Can I print my images anywhere?

With every session I offer, you get a print release for your edited images which will allow you to print your images wherever you choose.  Although one hour processing may  be convenient, they do not offer the greatest color quality. Please keep this in mind when choosing where to have your images printed. I can only guarantee the highest quality of your printed images when they are ordered through me/my website. I offer prints and several products right from the gallery.
