About Me

I’ve always had a love for art and it became a constant in my life throughout college. It wasn’t until after I had children that I discovered photography and became my family’s memory keeper. So 10 years ago I decided to dive in professionally and invested in education and my first Canon camera.  My background as a teacher naturally led me to specializing in photographing high school seniors. I’m drawn to their vibrant energy and telling their unique stories.

My goal is to get every senior I photograph to feel completely at ease and radiating confidence in front of my lens. I wasn’t exactly a self-assured teen myself, so I’m all about giving them that glow-up moment they deserve.

Life in Mount Dora is my happy place, with my husband Rick by my side and my three grown kids living so close by. I am a self proclaimed night owl with a dark chocolate and coffee addiction (seriously, never turn down a coffee invite!) and love buying plants which somehow always die! When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me on a pickleball court or in the gym.

So that’s me in a nutshell—part artist, part hype-woman, and totally obsessed with capturing all of life’s good stuff and the people in it.

“Tammy has photographed both of our daughter’s for their senior portraits. Her gift of a beautiful eye is matched by her kindness and her ability to make her subjects feel completley at ease. I loved it when she would laugh and make my daughter laugh right along with her. I can see it in my daughter’s eyes in the photos. She was smiling from her heart.”

about me

My passion for art began at age five, when I first started drawing and painting—and it became a constant in my life throughout college. It wasn’t until after I had children that I discovered photography, stepping into the role as my family’s memory keeper with camera in hand. Wanting to learn more and become better at it, I decided to invest in education and purchased my first Canon camera in 2016. My background as a teacher naturally led me to specializing in photographing high school seniors. I’m drawn to their vibrant energy and telling their unique stories.
